Studio

Easy Records has a top quality home studio to produce Albums at a professional level. I have invested in the best software and hardware to maximise my creativity and sound quality.

Collaboration

Together we make a plan for our project. We search for the right style and sound. And discuss how we want to release the tracks. For example multiple tracks on an EP or separate tracks as Singles.

You can use the Albums in anyway you like. You could for example use it as promotional material in the search for a band or to get more gigs. Or just for fun to have your own Albums on Spotify and share with fans, friends and family.

For me the goal is to produce top quality Albums and built up a nice portfolio of productions. To expand my network of Artists and enjoy the collaborations.

Workflow

For each track, we first compose the music. I can do that alone or we can do that together. Depending on the situation.

Then I make a pre-mix and we pick a date to record the lead vocals, adlibs and backing vocals.

After recording the vocals I start editing. Cleanup the recordings. And select the best parts. If necessary some vocal tuning here and there to have you sing spot on.

After editing I start mixing and mastering. Step by step we will get to the perfect sound that suites you and your Album.

When we are 100% satisfied with the end result. And we give our consent to release it. The track is delivered to a distributor who publishes the Album on Spotify.

Credits

We don’t sign any contract. So you never get stuck to me as a producer or label.

Since Spotify will pay 0,005 cents per stream. You must realise we do this mostly for the fun and the fame.

For every Album we make, you will be credited as the Artist and I will be credited as the producer. And we will share the royalties.

Royalties

To get an Album on Spotify you need to go through an official publisher. There are many options these days’s. For all the Albums I released till now I worked with RouteNote.

To get 100% of the royalties you have to pay every month. But you will never get enough streams to make it profittable, unless you have a major hit. So for now I work with the free version of RouteNote and theirfor they will get 15%.

So if the Album we make is completely written buy us alone. We get 85% of the 0,005 cents per stream.

Then their is the matter of cover songs. In that case the original songwriter will get a big part of the royalties. And what’s left for us might be like 25% of 0,005 cents per stream.
